The Dun Inn

In the unique setting of Glenbeag in the West Highlands, are two of the best preserved Iron Age forts in the country. These drystone, hollow walled structures known as Brochs or Duns guard an ancient drove route from the Islands to Central Scotland. Using our own spring water and organic ingredients, Dun Brewing produces a range of craft beers in our small Brewery directly below Dun Troddan.

The ‘Dun Inn’ lounge bar is located adjacent to the brewery - formerly a cow shed, decorated with rustic furniture, a dartboard and a wood burning stove. A superb location for downing a pint of fine ale, or two.

We usually have three or four beers on draught and delicious pies made by our local chef Scott. We also serve soft drinks, organic coffee and cakes.

Please note that this year our pizza events are not happening on weekly basis and they will be announced on the website or on social media.

WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY

from 2pm until 6pm

We also have accomodation available near the brewery for up to 8 people. Duntrodden House is a holiday house built in 2016 to a very high ecological standard using native timber with a grass roof.

As well as the brewery, the farm established a tree nursery in 2021, which focuses on growing native trees from local seeds.
